Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. Attended Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Networking Summit (MCITP); Russian Fiber Cement Board Project Successfully Put into Operation

Recently, Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the 2026 Myanmar‑China Investment and Trade Networking Summit (MCITP) held in Shanghai. The summit focused on cement building materials, green new energy, and new low‑carbon building materials, building a platform for China‑Myanmar industrial investment and cooperation. As a professional service company in the building materials industry with years of deep engagement in the Southeast Asian market, Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., leveraging its comprehensive full‑industry‑chain technical service capabilities and overseas project experience, formally signed a memorandum of understanding on industrial cooperation with Shwe Taung Cement Co., Ltd. during the summit. Both parties reached comprehensive consensus on resource complementarity, technology co‑construction, and market sharing based on Myanmar’s infrastructure planning and market conditions, and identified multiple practical cooperation directions.

Separately, the fiber cement board production line in Sterlitamak, Russia, for which Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. was fully responsible for process design and core equipment manufacturing, recently completed commissioning and achieved stable full‑line operation. This is the second complete production line project that the Institute has undertaken in the Russian building materials equipment market. The Mayor of Sterlitamak and the Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Bashkortostan attended the commissioning ceremony, highly praising the role of this intelligent production line in filling the local gap in high‑end non‑asbestos building materials production capacity. The entire line features an industry‑first non‑asbestos board preparation process, with finished products that are freeze‑thaw resistant and durable, adaptable to various construction standards in Russia’s extremely cold regions. The project team overcame challenges such as differences in overseas standards and localization of equipment, providing full‑chain engineering services from plant planning and equipment customization to installation and commissioning, winning high recognition from the Russian government and the client.
